When it comes to our children, we can do a lot of things to help them have an advantage in life.
We can send them to the best schools and buy them the most expensive tennis shoes, but their lives will still be miserable if they don’t have wisdom. Godly wisdom is the key to a happy life.

Jesus often told stories so people could understand certain concepts more clearly.
When we teach our children, it’s important for us to do the same. That doesn’t mean teaching in parables necessarily. What that means is finding something they can relate to in order to highlight and teach the principles from God’s Word.
