We have a promise in God’s Word that says our houses will be full of much treasure. I don’t know about you, but that makes me feel a lot better!
We can trust God and not worry about the future. But that doesn’t mean we can just sit around and wait for money to fall on us out of Heaven.
We’re all familiar with the saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” However, nothing could be further from the truth. Words can hurt and cause damage. The good news is that they can heal and bring life too!
James 3:5-6 (MSG) says, “A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything—or destroy it! It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that.
