Some days it will feel easy to love your spouse and some days it will seem nearly impossible. But thankfully, we can love because we know the source. You don’t have to rely on your own ability, but the fruit of the Spirit that you have as a child of God.
…Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:7-8 NLT)

Letting your feelings determine if you “love” your spouse is crazy. Start acting on God’s love that was poured into your heart through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5) whether you feel like it or not. The goosebumps will come, but determine to take action first.
