God ordained that the spiritual lives of His people be centered in the home.

Deut. 11:18-21 You shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul…You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, that the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers to given them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.

Here is a top 10 list of things all parents should do for their children…

For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

They will betray their friends , be reckless, puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than love God. They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that.

God has given our kids an extended growing time so they can be in our homes to be molded, protected, taught and developed under our guidance. With His help we can make a success of the opportunity. No matter what challenges we face today, God’s got the solution.

Eighteen years seems like a long time, but it’s really not. Birthdays, Christmas holidays, little league, school plays, piano lessons, vacations, school proms, it moves by so fast. That is why we must make use of the time we have.
