We’ve all said it, “I need _____!” Fill in the blank.
I need help. I need more money. I need peace in my house. I need more time. I need strength. The list could go on.
The next time you find yourself saying an I need statement, remind yourself of what God says about that situation. Find two or three scriptures on the topic.
Are you saying, “I need help!”?
Here’s what God says:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
…For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?’” Hebrews 13:5-6 (Read the full passage.)
God will supply your need.
Philippians 4:19 — And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
