God is a God of Mercy. What exactly is Mercy?
Webster’s Dictionary defines Mercy as:
- Compassion
- Lenient or compassionate treatment
- A blessing that is an act of divine favor or compassion
When the Blind man was calling out to Jesus, he didn’t yell out the obvious… “I need some eyeballs!”
He called out “Mercy!”
He knew that God was a God of Mercy and He believed that Jesus was from God.
SO, he knew how to ask!
God is a good God. We can always be confident that we will receive grace and mercy from Him.
Grace, in that He gives us what we don’t deserve… and Mercy, where He doesn’t give us what we DO deserve!! He is always willing to forgive and heal!
