God has never seen things the way we usually see them.
We have a habit of judging people on their appearance. God has always looked at the heart.
The story of King David is probably the best example of this, in the Bible. David’s dad had lots of sons but God chose the “Ruddy-Complected-Runt” of the family. Even the prophet that God sent to find him was surprised.
When God chose David, he thought… “God, You’ve got to be kidding?”
