What prayers would you pray if you really believed God would answer them?
The Bible is full of miracles that God performed for people who cried out and asked for His help. Yet, for some reason we think, Yeah, I know He did it for those people in the Bible, and He did it for the preacher on TV, but I’m just a regular guy. I’m not anybody special or important. Why would He do that for me?
But the question should be why not? God doesn’t perform miracles for people because they’re more special or important than anyone else. He does it because they prayed in faith and asked! If you’re born again, God is your Father! And like any good father, He wants to bless you, protect you, and take care of you. And not just in a “barely getting along and scraping by” kind of way, but in an “exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or think” kind of way!

Don’t let prayer be a last resort when you don’t know what else to do or where else to turn. Go to God first with everything in your life, and give Him permission to get involved! You’ll find that life will be a whole lot better than you ever dreamed possible!

God is not a “barely get along kind” of God. He is an “abundantly above all we can ask or think” kind of God and that’s what He wants for you!
