Do you know God will help direct you in all of your plans?
That means your college plans, marriage plans, family plans, business plans, and even vacation plans.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (MSG) says, “Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.”
Have you ever had a vacation that just went off track? You thought you had it all planned out. Everyone was going to have a great time and be happy! But a wrench got thrown into the mix and all the happiness and fun got sucked out of the whole plan.
God can help to keep that from happening.
When we listen to His voice in everything we do, He will help keep us and our plans on track. The next time you start planning a vacation, write down some ideas, but then pray over them, “Father, I’ve got some ideas, but I commit this vacation time into your hands. I thank you for establishing my thoughts. Give me some plans. Help me to think this thing through and make a plan that will help us have a great family vacation.”
“Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed” (Proverbs 16:3 NLT).

When you start making a plan, include God in the planning process. Get some ideas together, but ask God for His help in putting a plan together. He will help you figure out all the details and also help you get the best deals!
