According to studies, the average person can maintain 150 relationships. That’s a lot of people, but think about it. Think about all the varying types of relationships you have. Your spouse, your children, your parents, your co-workers, the neighbor, the mail carrier, the cashier at your grocery store – all the people that show up in your daily routine.
Add to that- statistics show the people are most open to information by word of mouth – which comes from family, friends, and acquaintances.
THE POINT
You have a sphere of influence whether you realize it or not. The relationships you have (even the seemingly insignificant ones) are part of your ministry. You are an ambassador for Christ. You are salt and light. You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be willing to take time to love people.
A word. A smile. A prayer. You are on the mission field every day.
Not only do you go with us around the country and the world reaching families – you have an impact in your house, your job, your neighborhood, your city.
As you go through this month, be conscious of your sphere of influence and ask God to show you new ways to live love as an action word.
THE NEXT STEP
As parents, we are so grateful for your prayers and financial support that help reach us reach families across the country, but we’d like to take our partnership one step further and make sure we’re helping you reach your mission field too. Let us know what resources would help you reach the people in your life. Is there a topic you see people struggling with?
We’d love to know how we can partner with you as we develop our resource center, video libraries, free downloads, printable PDFs and more.
