Job 36:11 (MEV) says, โ€œIf they obey and serve Him, they will spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure.โ€ I donโ€™t know of a better scripture to make into a bumper sticker and have plastered on the back of yourย car or stuck on a refrigerator!

4. Never Call Your Child Stupid

Thereโ€™s a very good reason why parents should never call their child, โ€œstupid.โ€

Itโ€™s because your words are powerful. If you of all people, who know your child best, call them stupid, your child willย start to think, โ€œI must be stupid because my dad said I am.โ€

A person will begin to believe what they hear the most. If at home, all they hear is how they are doing something incorrectly or that they never learn, they will begin to see themselves that way.

5. When You Don’t Know What to Say

Have you ever been unpleasantly surprised by something? What was your first reaction?

Thatโ€™s what weโ€™re talking about today. Our first reaction is important because thatโ€™s a reflection of what we have deep on the inside.
