If you can see God’s vision in your heart, you can possess it.
How do you see God’s vision? You see it with your spiritual eyes by meditating on the Word and getting to know God’s character and His promises. Psalms 1:1-3 says the man who delights in God’s Word and meditates on it day and night will prosper in everything he does.
You will only have what you can see. So how do see yourself five years from now? Do you see yourself stronger or weaker, richer or poorer, stuck in a rut or moving forward? Has the devil painted a picture of your situation never getting better? If so, realize that you’re looking at life with natural eyes instead of spiritual eyes, and stop looking at his pictures.
We need to constantly be looking into the mirror of God’s Word so we’ll know what He says about us (James 1:24). God’s Word shows us the truth. With your spiritual eyes, see yourself the way God does. Don’t accept the false images the devil shows you. Stay focused on God’s Word, and you will see God’s vision for you come to pass.
The Take Away:
In order to possess God’s vision for your life you have to see it in your heart. Meditate on the Word of God. Get to know His character and promises. Make Psalms 1:1-3 your daily confession. God’s Word is truth, and when we know the truth our spiritual eyes are open to discerning the devil’s lies. No matter what negative circumstance the devil throws at you, the truth is that with God all things are possible! We are overcomers in Christ Jesus! And we have been gifted and called for a purpose!
