In 1975, God showed me and my wife that one day we were going to travel and work with families.
With my natural eyes, I couldn’t see myself doing this. I was terrible at public speaking. In school, I got F’s for oral book reports! I also had a fear of flying. Growing up, I ran to the house whenever I just heard a plane fly overhead! However, today I fly on airplanes all the time to speaking engagements where I am the guest speaker.
Before God’s vision can come to pass in our lives, we first have to see it in our hearts. If I had focused on the natural problems I had with public speaking and flying, I wouldn’t have moved forward with the vision God gave me. However, in my heart I could see it, and I began to act upon it until it finally came to pass. Today, I am living that vision as a reality.
God can do great things in and through us if we will just open our spiritual eyes, see what He sees, and do what He tells us to do. Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23 NKJV).
Take Away:
It takes faith for the vision God has for you to come to pass. You have to see it with your spiritual eyes before it will become a reality. If you only see with natural eyes, you will never possess the great things God has planned for you. Don’t limit what God can do. “God can do anything—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams” (Eph. 3:20 MSG). Start seeing with your spiritual eyes what He has for you, and then do what He tells you to do, and watch that vision come to pass in your life!
