Have you ever rushed out the door to run errands, only to find yourself backtracking and covering the same ground two or three times?
You didn’t want to take the time to make a list because you thought, I know what I need to do. I don’t need to write it down. However, a couple of hours later you wish you had made the five-minute investment to make a list because it would have saved you the 45 minutes to an hour that you spent backtracking because you forgot something.
One of the most important things we could ever learn in life is how to manage our time.
We can’t get more than 24 hours in a day, so we must become skilled in organization and time management. Since God is the author of time, it’s safe to assume that He can show us how to get the maximum value and potential out of each day.
Proverbs 9:11 (TLB) says, “I, Wisdom, will make the hours of your day more profitable and the years of your life more fruitful.”
A major key in time management is slowing down and taking the time to listen for the Holy Spirit’s direction, and then taking time to plan and prepare.
Watch & Be Encouraged
The Take Away:
God says in His Word that He will order our steps and that includes helping us to manage our time. When we allow the Holy Spirit to be involved in our day-to-day affairs, He will help us to save a lot of steps, which will result in helping us to redeem our time and use it wisely.
