There are no little plans with God. Every plan He has is big because every one of them has purpose.
Rev. Billy Graham is probably one of the most well-known evangelists of this century. Hundreds of thousands of people have come to Jesus Christ under his ministry. His influence is on a global scale and encompasses the poor, the middle class, the rich, Presidents, foreign dignitaries, and royalty.
However, the person you don’t hear much about is Billy Graham’s mom, Mrs. Morrow Graham. According to Rev. Graham, she was the one who had the greatest influence on his life. She was just a farmer’s wife with little education. But she knew God, and that’s all she needed. She, along with Billy’s dad, would gather them together to listen to Bible stories, to have family prayer time, and to experience the presence of God. All of these things helped to instill in Billy the godly foundation and values that would help guide him throughout his life.
There are no small purposes. If Mrs. Morrow Graham hadn’t fulfilled her God-given purpose to raise godly children and consistently pray for them, Billy probably would not have fulfilled the vision God had for him.
You never know the ripple effect your life will have in impacting others when you’re obedient to His plan.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10 NLT).
THE TAKE AWAY
Never think the plan for your life is insignificant. He never does anything by mistake or as an afterthought. Your life matters!
