If you haven’t figured it out by now, know this—the devil is a liar, and he will do everything he can to keep you from having God’s blessing on your life! But the truth is he can’t stop the blessing!
There’s a story in the Bible in Numbers chapters 22 and 23 about a king named Balak who wanted to curse the nation of Israel because he was afraid of them. He hired a prophet, Balaam, to pronounce a curse on Israel. But God would not let Balaam curse Israel. Instead, God had Balaam bless Israel. King Balak was angry, but Balaam told him, “God is not a man; he will not lie. God is not a human being; his decisions will not change. If he says he will do something, then he will do it. If he makes a promise, then he will do what he promised. He told me to bless them. He blessed them, so I cannot change that” (Numbers 23:19-20 ERV).
When God pronounces a blessing, it’s a done deal. Nobody can revoke it or change it! The only thing that will stop the blessing of God on your life is disobedience to God’s Word. But if you’re walking in obedience, then the blessing of God will be on your life!
