Biblical parenting is less about the changes you make in your child than it is about the changes you allow God to make in you. Luke 2:52 tells us that a student is no greater than their teacher.
If you want to see your children love and obey God, they need to see you doing that. If you want them to be kinder or more hard working—they need to see you model that behavior. A successful parent can teach even through their mistakes. Your child will learn more by seeing how you handle obstacles and failures than they ever could if you were perfect.
