One key tip is to be diligent. Be a hard worker. Don’t be lazy. Give 100 percent of your effort, and go the extra mile even if no one else does.

Proverbs 10:4 (KJV) says, “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”
When it comes to work ethic, just because others may be lazy and slack, don’t drop your standards and develop the attitude of no one else cares, so why should I? But rather, you be the standard instead. Others may not appreciate your effort and may even try to discourage you with comments like, “Hey, don’t work so hard! You’re making the rest of us look bad!”
However, diligence and hard work are what bring favor, promotion, and increase.
Proverbs 12:24 (TLB) says, “Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and never succeed.”
Advancing in life and experiencing increase and promotion can many times be achieved simply by being diligent and working hard.

Don’t settle! Be the person who raises the bar and goes the extra mile!

THE TAKE AWAY

The amount of success and increase we experience in life is up to us. The Bible says if we are lazy and slack, we’ll be poor and never succeed. However, if we choose to be diligent and work hard, we can receive promotions, become leaders, and see substantial increase in our lives. The choice is up to us. Let’s choose to be diligent!
