When God shows us the vision for our lives, He doesn’t show us the entire plan at once.
Psalms 37:23 (NKJV) says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delights in his way.” God shows us His plan one step at a time.
Walking out God’s vision for our life, can be like walking in the dark with a flashlight. The flashlight illuminates the ground in front of us so we can see to take that first step. When we take that step and move forward, then the next step is illuminated, and so on until we get to our destination.
Proverbs 4:18 (KJV) says the path of the just is like a shining light that shines more and more unto the perfect day. Each time God shows us a step and we take it our faith is growing, and our path is getting brighter as we walk out the vision. This process doesn’t end until Jesus comes to get us!
Take-Away:
God shows us the vision in steps. Ask Him to show you what step you need to take. Take time to pray, read His Word, and get quiet before Him so He can speak to you. When He shows you the step to take, act on in; step out in faith. God has great things planned for us and our families. Let’s seek Him, ask Him, and live out that plan!
