Faith and prayer go hand in hand.
You can’t come to God in prayer without having some faith, and expect Him to respond. Your faith might not be any bigger than a grain of mustard seed, but God is pleased with it, and even that small amount is pretty powerful. Jesus said that even with mustard seed sized faith mountains could be moved and nothing would be impossible.
“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20 NIV).
So you don’t need to have BIG faith in order to please God; you just need to have some faith. You just need to have enough faith to take Him at His Word and believe that what He said is true!
“He that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6 KJV).
