Are you satisfied? That’s a loaded question. A lot of times we hear that in the sarcastic tone, but for a moment, ask yourself that question genuinely.
It’s an awful thing to live life unsatisfied. More than than, it’s not God plan for you to live unsatisfied.
Do you want to hear some great news? It doesn’t matter what other people are doing, what the economy is doing, who’s in congress, or who’s in the white house, God’s people can live a satisfied life!
Look at what God’s Word says:
Psalm 37:18-19 (NIV) says, “The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care, and their inheritance will endure forever. In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.”
John 10:10 (NLT) says, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
Leviticus 26:3-5 (CEV) says, “Faithfully obey my laws, and I will send rain to make your crops grow and your trees produce fruit. Your harvest of grain and grapes will be so abundant, that you won’t know what to do with it all. You will eat and be satisfied, and you will live in safety.”
Each one of those scriptures talks about us living a rich, full, satisfied life! God says if we’ll obey Him, then He will see to it that we walk in abundance and are satisfied! The world may suffer lack, but not God’s kids! He’ll see to it that His kids are well supplied!
“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread” (Psalm 37:25 NIV).
THE TAKE AWAY
God wants us to live an abundant life. We don’t have to worry about what the economy, or politicians, or even what your company may do. When we live for God, He will take care of us always!
